Quality Circle for Placement Cell

Placement Cell strives to get employment to as many students as possible before they leave the portals of the college. The Placement Cell prepares the students to face employment market with skills like personality development, communication skill, aptitude skill, leadership and team work and apart from in house experience, external expertise will be sought.

Objectives of Placement Cell

  •  To Create awareness regarding the importance of job
  • To make the students aware of the job opportunities
  •  To create a path to get a job for seekers

  • INFOMAK Technology Pvt Ltd, Saidapet, Chennai, conducted a campus drive on 14th February 2013. Seven students were participated out of which five students were selected and received call letters.
  •  A Campus interview for the students from Home Science and Nutrition organized was conducted by National Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Karaikudi on 25th February 2013. Six of our students were participated out of which 2 were selected and received appointment order.
  •  Ms. R. Jeevitha and Ms.S. Vinothini of MCA placed in INFOMAK  Technology Pvt.Ltd, Saidapet, Chennai on 02-09-13
  • School Campus Drive has been arranged for all the final year UG and PG students on 14.2.2014. There are 41 students were participated. Six of them were placed at National Academy Matriculation and ICSE School, Ramanathapuram. Five of them were short-listed at Sri Krishna International school, Devipattanam

  • WIPRO Technologies of Chennai was conducted a campus drive on 16th March 2015. Hundred and twenty students from various colleges were participated. Five students were selected, 3 from our college and 1 from Syed Ammal Arts and Science college and 1 from Paramakudi Government Arts college.

Conducted Career Orientation Programme 2015-16

Conducted Career Orientation Programme for the interested final year UG and PG students of Division I & Division II on 29.02.16. Mr Easwaran Ram, Principal Consultant, Tech Mahindra, Chennai was the resource person presided over the programme. Hundred and Eleven students were participated.

Conducted School Campus Drive for the interested final year UG and PG students of Division I & Division II on 02.04.’16. Four schools were conducted interview for our students ( National ICSE, National Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Deeniya Matric. Hr. Sec. School , Nabeesa Ammal Matric. Hr. Sec. School). Thirty Students were participated and five students were selected.

Conducted One day Orientation Programme on “Civil Services Examination” for the interested final year UG and PG students of Division I & Division II on 05.03.16. Mr. K Allaudin, IAS(Rtd), Director, S-IAS Academy , Chennai, Prof. Dr. Semumu Mohamed Ali, Executive Director, S-IAS Academy , Chennai , Prof. Dr. S. Mathuram Selva Raja, Academic Director, S-IAS Academy , Chennai were the resource persons presided over the porgramme. Two Hundred students were participated

One day Orientation Programme 2016-17

One day Orientation Programme on the topic “Career Development Skills” was conducted for all the first year UG and PG students of Division I and Division II on 30.07.16. Ms D Murugeswari, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Thassim Beevi Abdul Kader College For Women, Kilakarai was the resource person.

Arranged a One Day Off campus Orientation Programme on the topic “Improve Every Part of Your Life” for final year UG and PG students of both Division I & II 10.08.16. Mr. Kavi. Murugabharathi, HR Trainer, Madurai was the resource person presided over the programme. 55 students were participated.

Conducted a One day Orientation Programme on the topic “Career Development Skills” for Final year UG & PG students from both Division I & II 17.08.16. Mr. Rozario Lloyd Gerard, Soft Skills and English Verbal Trainer, Sakthi Soft Skill Training Academy, Chennai was the resource person presided over the programme.

Conducted One day Sensitization Programme on “UPSC Examination Preparation” for UG & PG final year students of both Division I & II 18.08.16. Dr. Dr. R. Dhandapani,. Formerly Registrar, Alagappa University,. Karaikudi, Dr. P. Suresh Kumar, Director, Alagappa University Study Circle, Mr. M. Balasubramanian, Deputy Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi were the resource.

We Conducted DOT NET class for final year UG and PG Students from the department of Computer Science form 30.01.2017 to 02.02.2017. Fifty Five Students have successfully completed the requirements (Online Examination) to be recognized as a Microsoft Technology Associate for “Software Development Fundamentals C#” on 06.02.2017. P. Thilagavathi MCA., Branch Head, Kalvigroup, Ramanathapuram handled DOT NET class from 30.01.2017 to 02.02.2017. P. Thilagavathi MCA., Branch Head, Kalvigroup, Ramanathapuram and S. Anumanth B E., Software Trainer, Kalvigroup, Ramanathapuram conducted this Online Examination on 06.02.2017.

On Campus Drive was conducted for final year UG and PG students of both divisions I & II on 20.02.2017. 103 students were participated in the Campus Drive. Mr P. Velmani, HR Trainer, ALCANCE TECHNOLOGY, Chennai and Mr. M. Venkatesh ,HR Trainer, ALCANCE TECHNOLOGY, Chennai were the recruiters and conducted an interview for our students.
