MOTTO :: Not Me But You
NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

They serve God well who serve his creations. A healthy society is one where every one is provided equal opportunity to develop their skills and personality. In that way the National Service Scheme (NSS) helps a lot in moulding the mind and character of the young students.

The objectives of the National Service Scheme (NSS) are to create an awareness in the youth to take risks in life, to work in groups, to face various challenging situations and to help others in need voluntarily, when situation demands. With these objectives, the social service club was inaugurated in our college by our former founder Principal Mrs Nafeesa Kaleem on 11 September 1989 with 130 students as members. The first meeting was conducted on 13 September 1989 with the selection of the office bearers. In the beginning, there was one National Service Scheme (NSS) unit with 100 volunteers. Now we have two units (units 134 and 164) with 210 volunteers.

The activities of the National Service Scheme (NSS) enthuse our students to be agents of social change. The volunteers seek to make an impact on the rural community through their activities, especially on the women and children through

special camps like medical camps, eye camps and veterinary camps in addition to rural exhibitions on health and hygiene. To achieve these aims, human chain rallies were held to maintain communal harmony. Campus activities like gardening and campus cleaning were conducted.
